The Very First Truly Vertical Cooker Hood
Built to the highest standards in a modern factory in Italy, The Talìka is a true reflection of Faber’s passion and commitment to investing in new extraction technology, production techniques and cutting-edge design.
To create The Talìka, the very first truly vertical cooker hood, Faber installed their revolutionary Nautilus motor which is ultra slim at only 15cm wide. Reducing the space for the motor has eliminated the conventional slanted surface usually seen on a wall mounted hood.
All Faber hoods fitted with a Nautilus Motor qualify for energy class A rating but still maintain their exceptional extraction performance.
Colours
The Talìka mixes striking materials including Old Copper, Cross Titanium and Dark Grey Concrete with a white base panel. This effortlessly sleek pairing forms a beautiful yet functional focal point in any kitchen.
In 2017 we saw The Talìka win the Red Dot Award in the product design category. Previous Red Dot award winners include illustrious names like Apple, BMW and Pininfarina. The Red Dot awards have given recognition to the work of top designers and manufacturers from all over the world since 1955.
Special Features
Since most families congregate in the kitchen, it’s not a bad idea to keep the technology and design in this space updated. The Talìka includes several Faber technologies that make it more effective and easy to use including Double Aspiration, Intensive Speed and can be purchased with a remote control which is particularly useful for people with reduced mobility.
Filters
This stylish hood also has easy access to grease filters, simply lift the panel at the front for access to the motor and filters.
A charcoal filter can be installed inside the extractor on top of the motor, which helps to purify air by absorbing odours.
